The Life Game

The Life gameEveryone has a story to tell...

Each night a different guest is interviewed on stage about their life. As their story unfolds, it's spontaneously transformed into a piece of theatre - a staged biography of a guest’s life - told through the improvisational acting skills of the actors.  The spectacle of someone re-discovering their life path and experiencing the emotions and feelings from their past makes for electrifying theatre.  People, places, events….memories. First kisses…last rites…scary monsters...idyllic days...instant, do-it-yourself drama.

Next performance: TBA

Featuring Brian Anderson, Jeff Gladstone, Riel Hahn, Denise Jones, David Milchard, Alan Marriott, Mike Rohl, Veena Sood, Lori Triolo, and Tallulah Winkelman.

“...what makes ''Lifegame'' so appealing is the clear sense that its performers are there not to show off their obvious talents, but to provide a frame for others. It is as selfless-seeming a slice of show business as I have ever witnessed.”  - The New York Times

“...The last decade or so has led us to consider improvisation as the stuff of comedy performances, rather than this potential direct vein of serious theatre material.” - The Financial Times, New York
